When I founded Progressive Marketing (now Premier Mounts) in 1977, I saw a gap in the market for specialized AV equipment and projector mounts. I never could have imagined what a long and exhilarating ride it would be.

As the professional audio-visual and home entertainment industry has grown and changed, Premier Mounts has always been at the forefront of innovation, creating mounting solutions that have opened up new horizons for flat-panel TV and projector use in the home, schools and business.

I’m extremely proud of the company Premier Mounts has become and the products we’ve introduced — from the first Sony projector mount in 1977 to the Nova™ and PDS Plus™, two new mounts in our new Galaxy family of projector mounts we introduced in June 2007.

Today, as we celebrate 30 years of innovation, Premier Mounts continues to deliver on a promise I made when I started the company, “bring to market innovative solutions that marry quality and design.”

Over the years, we’ve expanded upon that promise to capture the partnership and support we provide to dealers, integrators and consumers alike.

In an industry where innovation is in high demand, it is validating that we continue to be recognized for our efforts.

• Gary Kayye’s rAVe newsletter named the Polaris Universal Projector Mount as one of the “Most Integrator-Friendly Products” at InfoComm 07.
• Electronic House Magazine recognized our new In-Wall Box as Product of the Year. These In-Wall Boxes enable our swing-out mounts to be positioned flush against the wall.
• Custom Retailer Magazine awarded Premier Mounts with an Exc!te Award for the In-Wall box.

And we're just getting started. In the past nine months, we also launched three new mount families: Atlas wall mounts, Infinity swing-out arms and Terra floor stands and carts. And to meet the growing need for custom designed mounts, we launched the Premier Dedicated Solutions division.

As Premier Mounts enters into our next 30 years, I guarantee that we'll continue to do whatever it takes to deliver on the promise I made in 1977 by delivering innovative products that enable your company or family to “entertain the possibilities.”
