This adjustable-height universal projector mount fits most projectors weighing up to 40 lb. (18 kg). The PBL-UMS offers flexible projector positioning, including the ability to mount projectors such as the Sony VPL-FH31 in portrait mode, with four patented dual-joint support arms (US Patent number 7,942,375) that can reach almost any mounting point. It features an adjustable height extension channel and a versatile ceiling plate that can mount to traditional or vaulted ceilings. The quick release connector allows the projector to be installed quickly and then easily released for maintenance, without re-alignment. The PBL-UMS universal projector mounts comes in a black finish, but is also available in white (PBL-UMW).

How does this become a low-profile (2.5 in.) mount?

Remove the adjustable-height channel in the center and mount the lower portion directly onto the ceiling plate.

Is there a version that works with 1.5 in. NPT?

Yes. The PBC-UMW or PBC-UMS mounts to 1.5 in. NPT or our adjustable-height suspension adapters.

What if I do not know the weight of my projector?
